2021 Wrangler: For the Adventurer

It’s no secret that the Wrangler is built for the adventurer. It’s got powerful performance capabilities and comes standard with a 4-wheel drivetrain (4x4) to make sure you’ve always got the traction you need. However, the Wrangler actually offers three 4x4 systems that you can choose from to get ideal performance for any situation.

The standard system is the Command-Trac® 4x4 system which delivers torque to all four wheels, so you’ll always have dependable traction. The available Selec-Trac® 4x4 system has the ability to switch to 2-wheel drive when you’re on a smooth road to give you excellent fuel economy.

Additionally, the Rock-Trac® 4x4 System—which is available with either part-time or full-time modes—is made to handle the uneven terrain you might find when you get off the beaten path.

There is also an Off Road+ Button available to help you improve your vehicle’s overall off-road performance. With the push of a button, you can adjust throttle, transmission, shift points, and traction for optimal performance.

Jeep Wrangler: Performance Capabilities

The Jeep Wrangler’s off-road abilities are due in part to the amazing powertrain. It offers a few available engines for you to choose from, each with serious power under the hood:

Additionally, the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 is available with eTorque, which is a Mild Hybrid System. And all of the engines are capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

You’ll also need to spend less time stopping for gas, thanks to the EPA-estimated 21 city and 24 highway MPG.

Even as the rocky road jostles you around, the available heated front seats will keep you warm and ease your aching muscles. And you’ll have loads of room to stretch out and get comfortable with:

• 42.6 cubic feet of headroom
• 55.7 cubic feet of shoulder room

Behind the rear row, you’ll have 12.9 cubic feet of cargo room, plus standard cargo tie down loops and a rear compartment storage tray to help you make the most of your cargo area. And you can even fold the rear row flat to utilize the maximum 31.7 cubic feet of cargo space.
