Ram 1500 Oil Changes

Your Ram 1500 requires frequent oil changes to ensure your engine runs smoothly. While this service has no set mileage, your Ram will let you know with its oil change indicator system!

When it’s time, our technicians will replace the oil and the filter as well as rotate your Ram’s tires. In addition, they will inspect the following:

• Battery
• Brake system
• Engine cooling system
• Exhaust system
• Engine air cleaner

Ram 1500 Gas Engine Maintenance

Every 20,000 Miles

Once you hit the 20,000-mile mark on your Ram 1500 (and every 20,000 miles after), it’ll be time for a basic maintenance visit.

Our service team will begin with a thorough inspection of the following and replace components as needed:

• CV/Universal joints
• Front suspension and tire rods
• Brake linings

Then, our certified technicians will replace the cabin air filters, so you can breathe fresh air in your cabin until your next appointment.

Every 30,000 Miles

It'll be time to revisit us when you have racked up 10,000 more miles on your Ram. This time, you will receive a slightly more thorough assessment that covers an in-depth inspection of the front and rear axle surfaces as well as a replacement of the engine air cleaner filter.

At 100,000 to 150,000 Miles

100,000 to 150,000 miles are significant milestones for you and your Ram 1500, so this maintenance visit pulls out all the stops. Along with the traditional maintenance services, your truck will receive spark plug replacement and engine coolant flush at both visits.

Then, once you see 150,000 miles on your odometer, an inspection of the transfer case fluid and the accessory belt replacement will be performed.

Ram 1500 Diesel Engine Maintenance

If your Ram 1500 sports a diesel engine, you’ll need to visit our service center a little more often to ensure everything works seamlessly. This includes an appointment at 10,000 miles and every 10,000 miles after!

During these visits, you’ll see many of the same services as with the gas engine models and additional maintenance specific to your diesel. Some include:

• Filling the diesel exhaust fluid tank
• Draining water from the fuel filter assembly
• Replacement of fuel filter
