The Compass Trailhawk trim comes with the Jeep Active Drive Low 4WD system. This is meant for the off-road warriors who want an additional Low mode to take on the really tough obstacles. The Trailhawk also has a 1-inch increase in ride height for extra maneuverability.

Both 4WD systems come with the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, which lets you choose from up to five different drive modes based on the exact challenge you face. These are:

• Mud
• Rock

Rock mode is only available with the Jeep Active Drive Low 4WD system.

Interior Dimensions and Cargo Space: 2019 Compass

When you’re packing up for a ski trip or camping weekend, you want your SUV to have all the space you need for a great outing. You’ll find that space inside the cabin of the 2019 Jeep Compass.

It’s a 2-row SUV, so it seats five passengers comfortably, including the driver. In total, passengers get to enjoy an interior volume of 126.7 cubic feet. This includes 41.8 inches of front legroom and 38.5 inches of front headroom.

Additionally, you’ll have the following cargo area dimensions:

• Trunk volume: 27.2 cubic feet
• Cargo volume: 59.8 cubic feet

If you have a car full of passengers, you can still pack heavy with the 27.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second-row seats. To bring along even more gear, fold the rear seats down and you’ll have a total cargo capacity of 59.8 cubic feet.
