2021 Ram 1500: Performance Capacities

Whether you need back up at the worksite or a dependable ride to the campsite, the Ram 1500 has you covered. When properly equipped, it has a maximum available towing capacity of 12,750 pounds with the 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with eTorque Mild Hybrid Technology. Since the Ram 1500 also has a 2,300-pound maximum payload capacity when properly equipped, you can even load up the truck bed with all your gear.

Additionally, the available multifunction tailgate makes it easy to load and unload cargo from the truck bed even when you’ve got a trailer hitched to the back. Its 60/40 split doors swing open but can also function as a traditional tailgate when you need it. In that case, it’s sturdy enough to support up to 2,000 pounds easily.

Ram 1500: Interior Comfort

One of the biggest assets of the 2021 Ram 1500 is the impressive interior space. With seating for up to six passengers and 117 cubic feet of total passenger volume, you and your passengers will be comfortable no matter where you sit:
